2008 Golden Gloves Award
Junior League of Greater Winter Haven is proud to present the 2008 Golden Gloves Award
(previously named the Community Volunteer Award) to a member of our community in recognition
of outstanding volunteer efforts.
We would like to invite you to nominate an individual who, through his or her volunteerism,
has made a difference in our community. This award will honor an individual who:
1. Has contributed a considerable amount of time and effort volunteering in the community
2. Is a role model to others because of his/her leadership and dedication
3. Has taken on significant volunteer work that has made a positive impact on the greater Winter
Haven area
The recipient of the Golden Gloves Award will be honored at the Junior League of Greater
Winter Haven Spring Dinner on Tuesday, May 13, 2008. This is your chance to help recognize
the valuable contribution this individual makes to our community each day. Please use the
nomination form to nominate an outstanding community volunteer, or you may send
a message containing the required information to info@jlgwh.com
with Subject: Golden Gloves Award containing the required information.
Any Active, Provisional or Sustaining member of JLGWH or community volunteer organization may
nominate an individual for the award. However, Active and Provisional Junior League members and
their spouses are not eligible to receive the award.
